Smart enough for the science. Soft enough for the soul.

Hi, I’m Emme.

I spent 28 years in the fast-paced world of education — 20 of those as a school principal. It was deeply meaningful work, but I also understand the weight that comes with being the steady anchor for others while quietly feeling unanchored yourself.

In this next chapter, as a health and wellness coach trained through Duke University Health, I’ve dedicated my work to helping others navigate their own transitions with intention, clarity, and balance.

At Elements, I don’t believe in quick fixes or overwhelming lifestyle overhauls. Instead, I guide you through a thoughtful, personalized process using the Duke Wheel of Health alongside my signature “Elements” framework. With you at the centre, we work together to restore alignment — whether you’re managing a health concern, stepping into retirement, or simply seeking a greater sense of calm and purpose.

My goal is to support you in creating a life that feels grounded, balanced, and sustainable.

Before you write.

Is this therapy?
No. Coaching is forward-looking and behavioural. It pairs well with therapy and with medical care — it replaces neither.
Do you take insurance?
The practice is self-pay. Many clients use HSA or FSA funds; invoices are itemised accordingly.
Is this a “woo” practice?
Evidence-based, with room for the mystical. Emme is Duke-trained and NBHWC board-certified. She also believes some of the oldest languages — breath, fire, flow — still tell the truth about bodies. The two are not at war here.
How do I know if I am a fit?
Book a thirty-minute discovery call. You leave knowing whether to work with Emme or not. There is no pressure and no follow-up if the answer is not.
What happens in the first week?
A structured intake, a review of your health history and goals, and a written one-page plan you keep. Week two is when the actual work begins.
